SLFC – The History

The club has been run under the current regime since 2005, where it consisted of one open age team – who won the NRWL Cup.

In 2006 the under 16’s team formed, entering the ERGL, in their first season the were runners up in the ERGL cup.

In 2007 the under 14’s and the the reserves were formed, both teams representing Scarborough in the East Riding Leagues. In the Reserves debut season they where runners up in the ERWL Cup and the Development Shield.

2008 saw the under 12’s join the club again representing Scarborough in the East Riding Girls League and finished as runners up in the league Cup. Partly through the 2008 season the under 10’s were formed and won the Scarborough & District Minor League Cup.

This season the Soccer-ettes were set up – adding to the development of the club. Currently there are 7 age groups, 6 of which play in competitive football.
