Scarborough Athletic FC

Scarborough Ladies FC has a link-up with the town’s senior football club – Scarborough Athletic FC.

Although the two club’s are separate entities, the two clubs work together in community schemes such as providing free tickets to Athletic matches, and using mutual contacts.

At present the link consists a sub-committee who meet to discuss ways of working together, and Athletic also sponsor the Ladies’ under-13s team – this year for the third season.

Players at Scarborough Ladies have also been invited to become Society Mmembers at Scarborough Athletic this season – the Society is a not-for-profit fans-run entity which wholly owns and operates Scarborough Athletic FC.

The Ladies’ have a section on the Athletic website – www.scarboroughathletic.com, as well as a mention in the Athletic matchday programme, which sells over 6,500 copies a season.

It is hoped that the link will continue to grow over the coming seasons, and both clubs are proud to continue to back each other.
